O Clube Social Português Perth foi criado em 2007 com o objectivo de apresentar a cultura Portuguesa, providenciando alimentos de qualidade e eventos culturais que unem todas as pessoas de origem portuguesa. O Clube Social Português acolhe todos os seus membros, associados e amigos e convida todos a participar com suas famílias nas várias atividades.

The Portuguese Social Club welcomes all its members, associates and friends and invites all to participate with their families in various activities.

A Academia do Bacalhau de Perth (Perth Codfish Academy Inc.) deu seus primeiros passos em 1992, pela mão de José Augusto Madeira. Em agosto de 2008, a Academia foi finalmente registrada como uma organização sem fins lucrativos. A abertura oficial desta Academia ocorreu em 5 de março de 2011. Existem outras 60 academias em todo o mundo. A primeira Academia foi inaugurada em Joanesburgo, África do Sul e conhecida como a Academia Mãe. Os seus principais objetivos são a angariação de fundos para ajudar os indivíduos ou as organizações em necessidade. Em Portugal, o bacalhau é mais conhecido como o "amigo leal". Esta foi a origem do seu nome.

The Perth Cod Academy (Perth Codfish Academy Inc.) took its first steps around 1992, by the hand of Jose Augusto Madeira. In August 2008, the Academy was finally registered as a non-profit organization. The official opening of this Academy took place on March 5, 2011. There are another 60 academies around the world. The first Academy was inaugurated in Johannesburg, South Africa and known as the Mother Academy. Its main objectives are to raise funds to help an individual or an organization in need. In Portugal, cod is better known as the "loyal friend". This was the origin of his name.
