Sou o João, cheguei a Fremantle ainda em criança. Trabalhei imenso durante a minha vida e devido aos meus esforços, consegui alcançar os prémios de WA Cidadão do Ano em 2000, assim como a Medalha da Ordem da Austrália. Actualmente sou também um Juiz da Paz.
My name is John , and I have arrived in Fremantle while I was still a child. I worked very hard throughout my life and because of my efforts, I was thankfully awarded the prestigious WA Citizen of the Year Award in 2000, as well as my OAM (Medal of the Order of Australia). Currently i'm also a JP ( Justice of Peace).

Cindy (Lucinda) Jorge. Nasci em Ansião, Portugal.
Sou mãe de duas filhas e avó de quatro netos.
Sou uma Paralegal com 47 anos de experiência. Destes, 31 anos em Perth e o restante em Joanesburgo ,com um curto período em Moçambique.
Sou fluente em 2 línguas (mas estudei 5 línguas).
Adoro andar, andar de bicicleta, cinema e música. Meu lema : é mais gratificante dar do que receber.
Cindy (Lucinda). I was born in Ansiao, Portugal. I am a mother of two and a grandmother to four grandchildren. I am a Legal Para with 47 years of experience. 31 years in Perth and the remaining in Johannesburg with a short time in Mozambique. I am fluent in 2 languages (but I studied 5 languages). I love walking, cycling, movies and music. My motto is: it is more rewarding to give than to receive.

Nasceu em Torres Vedras – Portugal a 15 de Julho de 1954.
Vice Presidente da Academia do Bacalhau.
Chegou a Perth - Austrália em Agosto de 1987.
Ocupação: Co-ordenador de Construção (Área da metalúrgia)
Casado.
Duas filhas adultas.
Passatempos: Ler, escrever e jogar golfe.
Missão: Tratar todos como gosto de ser tratado.
Em 2019 venceu o Prémio Cidadão Português do Ano na categoria de Arte e Cultura.
I was born in Torres Vedras - Portugal on July 15, 1954. Vice President of the Cod Academy. He arrived in Perth - Australia in August 1987. Occupation: Construction Co-ordinator (Metallurgy Area) Married. Two adult daughters. Hobbies: Reading, writing and playing golf. Mission: Treat everyone as I like to be treated.
In 2019 I received the Portuguese Citizen of the Year Award in the category of Art and Culture.

Emigrei para a Austrália em 1985 com a família.
Comecei a fazer trabalho voluntário para a comunidade Portuguesa em 1993 a ajudar a direccao do WA Portuguese Club. Passados alguns anos comecei a fazer parte da direccao do Club como secretária até ao preciso momento. Do mesmo modo, fiz parte do Concelho das comunidades Portuguesas, como coordenadora da Escola Portuguesa, assim como do Rancho folclórico Português, do CCP . Ha um ano foi formado em WA o PAWA , Portuguese Australian Women’s Association, da qual sou membro da Direccao.
Prioridade , família, e ajudar quem Precisa , e quem me pede. O meu dilema, hoje por ti, amanhã por mim.
I was born in Portugal more specifically in Lisbon, 63 years old, married, three daughters, two grandchildren. I emigrated to Australia in 1985 with my family.
I started doing volunteer work for the Portuguese community in 1993 helping the
WA Portuguese Club board. After a few years I started to be part of the Club's management as a secretary until this very moment. Also, I was part of the Council of Portuguese Communities as coordinator of the Portuguese School, as well as of the Portuguese folklore Ranch, of the CCP. A year ago, PAWA was formed in WA, the Portuguese Australian Women's Association, of which I am a member of the Board.
Priorities are family and help whoever needs it, and whoever asks me to. My dilemma, today for you, tomorrow for me.

O Clube Social Português Perth foi criado em 2007 com o objectivo de apresentar a cultura Portuguesa, providenciando alimentos de qualidade e eventos culturais que unem todas as pessoas de origem portuguesa. O Clube Social Português acolhe todos os seus membros, associados e amigos e convida todos a participar com suas famílias nas várias atividades.
The Social Social Perth Perth was created in 2007 with the purpose to present the Portuguese culture, providing quality food and cultural events that unite all people of Portuguese origin. The Portuguese Social Club welcomes all its members, associates and friends and invites all to participate with their families in various activities.
Perth Codfish Academy Inc.
A Academia do Bacalhau de Perth (Perth Codfish Academy Inc.) deu seus primeiros passos em 1992, pela mão de José Augusto Madeira. Em agosto de 2008, a Academia foi finalmente registrada como uma organização sem fins lucrativos. A abertura oficial desta Academia ocorreu em 5 de março de 2011. Existem outras 60 academias em todo o mundo. A primeira Academia foi inaugurada em Joanesburgo, África do Sul e conhecida como a Academia Mãe. Os seus principais objetivos são a angariação de fundos para ajudar os indivíduos ou as organizações em necessidade. Em Portugal, o bacalhau é mais conhecido como o "amigo leal". Esta foi a origem do seu nome.

The Perth Cod Academy (Perth Codfish Academy Inc.) took its first steps around 1992, by the hand of Jose Augusto Madeira. In August 2008, the Academy was finally registered as a non-profit organization. The official opening of this Academy took place on March 5, 2011. There are another 60 academies around the world. The first Academy was inaugurated in Johannesburg, South Africa and known as the Mother Academy. Its main objectives are to raise funds to help an individual or an organization in need. In Portugal, cod is better known as the "loyal friend". This was the origin of his name.

The portuguese delights are 100% produced in the warehouse, including cream pastry and berlin balls. We also make our own bread for sandwiches, and make our own food daily in the store.
